GOD is the Ultimate Conservative.

GOD is the Ultimate Conservative in that:

Conservative definition:

Adjective:  1 holding to traditional attitudes and values and cautious about change or innovation., typically in relation to politics or religion.

Noun:   1 a person who is averse to change and holds to traditional values and attitudes, typically in relation to politics.
Parts in italics are political or religious do not add to this understanding.

HIS Rules, Laws and Teachings, DO NOT CHANGE.
HIS JUDGEMENT IS: do what is right or you are wrong.
How do you know what is RIGHT, HE TOLD US BY THE WRITINGS OF MOSES. --THEY HAVE NOT CHANGED. The best place to start is with Exodus 20:1 and continue until Exodus 24:1, This is the Covenant made at Sinai.

Ezekiel 33:12 And thou, son of man, say unto the children of thy people: The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression; and as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not stumble thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall he that is righteous be able to live thereby in the day that he sinneth.
13 When I say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his righteousness, and commit iniquity, none of his righteous deeds shall be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, for it shall he die.
14 Again, when I say unto the wicked: Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
15 if the wicked restore the pledge, give back that which he had taken by robbery, walk in the statutes of life, committing no iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.
16 None of his sins that he hath committed shall be remembered against him; he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

Can you tell GOD that you are sorry and that will be enough? NO Ezekiel 33:14.... do that which is lawful and right;.......   You must demonstrate(DO) that you have STOPPED your evil and have chosen LIFE.

Know this and understand, HIS Laws have never changed, and therefore are as if YOU were at Sinai receiving them as you read the Hebrew, written on the parchment between the two sticks. Regret ---You Need It, Get some.

Regret, what is it for?
______________________________________________________________
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/regret
1re·gret
verb \ri-ˈgret\
: to feel sad or sorry about (something that you did or did not do) : to have regrets about (something)
—used formally and in writing to express sad feelings about something that is disappointing or unpleasant.
______________________________________________________________
Can there be any hope in seeking forgiveness for wrongs I may have done, if I am unwilling to regret in my life? making improvement in the world, your life or your soul.
I observe that many of us refuse to have regret over what we have done. We refuse to review our actions and decisions because we must then regret what "I, myself have done". This refusal to regret aids in the desire to find someone, anyone else to blame for what happens as long as it is not they that are responsible(breaking the law - Leviticus 19:11 Ye shall not steal; neither shall ye deal falsely, nor lie one to another.). Precisely this done so that they are not wrong, and must declare the actions or thought of others wrong. In the opposite direction, they are always willing to accept credit for good. The rules that they live by must be changing and flexible, so that they can continue to be on the positive side and not be wrong.
This cannot function in the world except for a short time, the result is always destruction. The destruction starts with a group of leaders of people, creating a society that crumbles(someone else is to blame), which causes shortages for the people over time: in work, self-regard, homes, family values collapse, families collapse, moral decay, personal health declines, food and water shortages and death of the masses. A disaster for the people of the earth. But, it changes nothing when personal accountability does not include truthfulness, honesty, integrity, trustworthiness, . . . . You cannot change when you are not responsible.
Jeremiah 6:18 Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is against them. 19  Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not attended unto My words, and as for My teaching, they have rejected it.
More evidence of the need for regret:
Deuteronomy 30:1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt bethink thyself among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee, 2 and shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and hearken to His voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul; . . . .
Leviticus 26:38 And ye shall perish among the nations, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up. 39 And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them. 40 And they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, in their treachery which they committed against Me, and also that they have walked contrary unto Me. 41 I also will walk contrary unto them, and bring them into the land of their enemies; if then perchance their uncircumcised heart be humbled, and they then be paid the punishment of their iniquity; 42 then will I remember My covenant with Jacob, and also My covenant with Isaac, and also My covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.
Jeremiah 3:13 only acknowledge thine iniquity, . . . .
Jeremiah 14:20 We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness, even the iniquity of our fathers; for we have sinned against Thee.
Hosea 5:15 I will go and return to My place, till they acknowledge their guilt, and seek My face; in their trouble they will seek Me earnestly
Isaiah 63:8 For He said: 'Surely, they are My people, children that will not deal falsely'; so He was their Saviour.
Consider truthfully where you stand according to the Writings of Moses(Leviticus 26:46 These are the statutes and ordinances and laws, which the LORD made between Him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.)

Torah and Sexuality -abbreviated

I have been ask to write about what the Torah says regarding homosexuality. This is a Fiery Topic anymore, what with political correctness and pushing against anyone that speaks out on the subject.

So I must start by saying, that I am aware of only ONE GOD, THE LIVING GOD OF ISRAEL; the GOD of Abraham, the GOD of Isaac and the GOD of Jacob; and to the point MY GOD. I am concerned with keeping HIS LAWS and TEACHING, because HE is the JUDGE of my actions and my defense. It is HIS LAWS that I write about. As such I find No Defensible, in favor of those acts in all of the Tanakh(Old Testament) or in the Writings of Moses(TORAH). The discussion of what is permissible is in those places. This is THE CREATOR OF THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH's Laws, Rules and Instructions.

Let us begin with the most direct source.(Torah)

Leviticus Chapter 18, describes how a man may have sex and with whom. It is only at the end of the chapter, we are emphatically told how important these are to GOD and Ourselves by way of the consequences, for not following them.

Leviticus 18:29 For whosoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people.  30 Therefore shall ye keep My charge, that ye do not any of these abominable customs, which were done before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God.
There is of course, many arguments which people, wiser and less wise have made over 4,000 years, for and against their own opinion or that of another person's opinion. For my part, I know that every decision I make effects my soul and my affect those that have come in contact with me. Because of all of this I am bound to the LAW GIVEN BY MY GOD written in the Five Books of Moses.

There are two notes(attention grabbers) I would like to present now.

The First note: Whatever our position in this world, whether male or female; young or old; tall or short; dark skin or light skin; hairy or bald; over sexed or under sexed; angry at everything or easily self-controlled; each person is required to control themselves and their urges. By controlling ourselves and our urges, and keeping the ALMIGHTY'S LAWS AND TEACHINGS, we stop act as animals made from the dirt and begin to show that part of GOD which is not of this earth or universe, known as the SOUL. The Soul is you "True Value" in and out of this Universe, and so your value may continue far beyond the end of the earth. If you chose wisely!

Second note: It is Genesis 1:26  "And God said: 'Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." Your Soul is in the form of the CREATOR OF THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH. The start of this realization, which for me has been coming for a very long time, is due to phrases like: Leviticus 19:2 . . . ."Ye shall be holy; for I the LORD your God am holy." ; Leviticus 18:30 . . . "defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God."; Ezekiel 18:4 "Behold, all souls are Mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is Mine; the soul that sinneth, it shall die."; Exodus 32:33 "And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Whosoever hath sinned against Me, him will I blot out of My book."

My point on this is: We, including Me are always so concerned with what is going on Now, with how I feel, what do I want, etc, . . . That we forget that our dirt is a very temporary thing, only blink of the eye -- type of existence and that the thing which has the greatest potential, cannot be seen or measured or marked by anyone else, and is prized far beyond our understanding by our CREATOR is my SOUL and your SOUL. More on this at another time.

Human Relationships Then and Now -- Adam and Eve

Human Relationships Then and Now — Adam and Eve

(Genesis 2:18 And the LORD God said: ‘It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help-mate for him.’) JPS 1918 version.

Adam does not appear to be without knowledge. He is the master of his world(Gen. 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto the man to see what he would call them; and whatsoever the man would call every living creature, that was to be the name thereof.).

Eve is also intelligent, she discusses the Word of GOD, as told her by Adam(her husband) with the serpent, but then she fails, (Gen.3:8 ….woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise,….); because First: she takes and eats of the tree; Second she heard only what she wanted to hear(the serpent said ‘knowing good and evil’, she heard ‘to make one wise’; Third: She then feeds the fruit to Adam encouraging her husband to fail when by this time she KNOWS ‘good from evil’.

Let us review the story again. Eve told the serpent (Genesis 3:3 “It is only about fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden that God said: ‘You shall not eat of it or touch it, lest you die.’“) Eve is then countered by the serpent with: (Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said to the woman, “You are not going to die, 5 God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as God, knowing good and evil’), but what she heard is that, she would become wise [verse 8], for other fruits are good for food and delightful to the eye, so they are not the enticement she desires. (Knowing is not Wisdom, or To know something does not make one Wise. –Yaakov Jeffries)

Eve also has some control over Adam, demonstrated in that(Genesis 3:6 …’ she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat; and she gave also unto her husband with her, and he did eat.’), he did not discuss or in any way refuse to eat what she gave him. I cannot see that she has gained any wisdom, for now she Knows right from wrong, how much greater is her wrong when she knowingly brings Adam into her sin? This last sentence maybe the reason some say that Eve was the source of evil. Read my ‘Original Sin’ writing for more on that.

At the end of this encounter with Adam and Eve, both are punished, but only for what each individually performed.

Points of interest:

1) …it is not good that man should be alone….. ——Could there be a tie between being this item and giving(Eve) or eating(Adam) the forbidden fruit?

2) …they shall be one flesh. —Could there be a tie between being one flesh and eating the forbidden fruit?

3) there seems to be no discussion between Adam and Eve regarding the eating of what Eve gives Adam; he just eats!

Questions:

1) Is there a correlation between (a man will leave his mother and father and cleave unto his wife.) and action of eating what he is given even when he KNOWS it is wrong?

2) How strong is this need not to be alone in the story and then Today?

3) They are in it together, after the eating of the forbidden fruit, so is seems obvious that Eve does not want to be alone in what is to come. Is that the cause of Adam eating?
If only Eve were guilty, would it seem that she should die on the spot and another replacement be found?
If a replacement is used, would the replacement be a considered lessor being for all of history?
‘B’ above seems to be the reason Eve must come from Adam, if Eve came from somewhere else then the Fight of ‘My Dirt is Better Than Your Dirt’ which happens without this divide just not as bad.
Would this also relate to the need to use some part of Adam(something from his side verses some place like a Toe, or even if made from some other dirt, soil or such. Would this other be considered less or very different as the source could be argued to be different than from the original soil used to create Adam. We always find ways to separate ourselves from the others.)
It then seems that they both would need to stay together in what is to come. It also seems that GOD knew this would be the case.

Observations:

1) The LIVING GOD OF ISRAEL knew what choices would be made before starting the earth’s creation, hence HE KNOWS WHAT WILL HAPPEN.

2) Given the information above I see that, they(Adam and Eve) chose togetherness as opposed to being alone.

3) It occurs to me that Eve is leading, Adam following, and they are naked; in the end this is reversed so that Eve is to be ruled by her husband and her desire is to be for him not others, and she will have great pain with child birth. Adam is to(do hard labor) work the fields and bring home the external goods so that the family survives and grows.

4) I now see another reason to be loyal to one’s Help Mate and family, which is to guard that which is part of me. I would expect no less from the GOD THAT CREATED ME, THE FATHER OF MY SOUL.

That was Then . . . .

1) Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman HE said” ‘I will greatly multiply thy pain and thy travail; in pain thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.’

This is Now:

Women strive to rule men, children rule them(both), and sexual roles are so confusing that everyone seems lost(see story of Sodom and Gomorrah).

Some Prophecies: –Your reward for your actions!

Isaiah 3:10) Say ye of the righteous, that it shall be well with him; for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

Isaiah 3:11) Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him; for the work of his hands shall be done to him. 12) As for My people, a babe is their master, and women rule over them.

***Are we returned to the failure of the Garden Of Eden? What happens next? Are we kicked out of our garden?

–The up-shot of this text seems that we are back at the beginning, where we were so evil that GOD destroyed all but the Righteous in a flood. No flood this time, but destruction is certain. Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Moses all speak of the last days and what will happen.

Genesis 6:5 ‘And the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.’

Trust and Believe

Who do you trust? Do you believe? What do you believe?

Trust and believe need definitions, so I will give you some.
Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines 'Trust' as:
1
a : assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something
B : one in which confidence is placed
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/trust?show=0&t=1371792397

And defines 'believe'

intransitive verb
1
a : to have a firm religious faith
b : to accept something as true, genuine, or real
2
: to have a firm conviction as to the goodness, efficacy, or ability of something
3
: to hold an opinion : think
transitive verb
1
a : to consider to be true or honest
b : to accept the word or evidence of
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/believe

My personal definition finds that both of these words should be based on evidence and must be earned and not given blindly.

Isaac son of Abraham is a great demonstration of Trust, in that at the binding, he did not fight back but appears to trust both GOD and his father Abraham, that everything will be FINE.

Isaac is, in appearance, simply -- "Simple". I believe that he has a bad reputation, as he is demonstrating a trust in GOD. The kind of kind of trust that all of us should have. As evidence that this is what GOD is looking for, Isaac is never tested in TRUST as was both Abraham and Jacob were tested. Although they were not tested in the same ways, and neither are we tested in exactly the same ways. Abraham was actually tested the most because he did not understand that he needed to trust GOD and of course he is the first to set out on the path.

Moses is another model of Trust and Belief, for in all of the story concerning Moses only once does GOD say of him Numbers 20: . . . 'Because ye believed not in Me, to sanctify Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.'

That was the one time. And, it should be noted that after the burning bush, GOD defends Moses, Moses defends the people. This one says that Moses has proof that he should trust and believe GOD.

So why all of the talk about Trust and Believe?

Because, We don't Trust or Believe the GOD that created the heavens and the earth and we are told over and over that we are responsible for our own soul and we have been given signs and wonders so that we can Know GOD.

So you say "I am a Jew, and all will be forgiven", I remind you that the Servant of HASH'M, Jacob, The House of Israel, these are the Chosen of ADON' and the prophesy that the Nation is redeemed, BUT BEWARE the causes whereby "that soul shall be cut off from his people" or "that soul shall be cut off from his people" this can be caused by Profaning that which is Holy to GOD; Doing that which is abhorrent; Working on the Sabbath; seeking ghost and spirits; eating any leavening during the Feast of Unleavened Bread; Profaning/defiling that which is Holy unto the LORD; Not Circumsized.

If you think that you can just say, 'I never heard any of this, so I don't need to worry about a GOD I never followed, this is for you:

Isaiah 27:11 When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off; the women shall come, and set them on fire; for it is a people of no understanding; therefore He that made them will not have compassion upon them, and He that formed them will not be gracious unto them. ((Lack of wit or understanding/knowledge will get you treated as an animal, not as a human with a soul. No regard for you by GOD, better seek to know and understand than to be ZERO.))

So what are we to do?

Deuteronomy 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
Deuteronomy 11:1 Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep His charge, and His statutes, and His ordinances, and His commandments, alway.
Deuteronomy 30:6 . . . .to love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. . . .
Deuteronomy 30:8 . . . .hearken to the voice of the LORD, and do all His commandments which I command thee this day

Isaiah 56: 6 Also the aliens, that join themselves to the LORD, to minister unto Him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be His servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and holdeth fast by My covenant: 7 Even them will I bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer; their burnt-offerings and their sacrifices shall be acceptable upon Mine altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.;

Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are Mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is Mine; the soul that sinneth, it shall die. 5 But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right, 6 and hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's wife, neither hath come near to a woman in her impurity; 7 and hath not wronged any, but hath restored his pledge for a debt, hath taken nought by robbery, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment; 8 he that hath not given forth upon interest, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true justice between man and man, 9 hath walked in My statutes, and hath kept Mine ordinances, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD.

There are many many more but in the end: Malachi 3:22 Remember ye the law of Moses My servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances.

Trust and Believe the CREATOR OF THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH, MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE, GOD OF OUR FATHERS, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, follow HIS LAWS AND TEACHINGS even when all around you fail. Why? If not for your soul, then maybe GOD will repeat Jeremiah 5:1 Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that doeth justly, that seeketh truth; and I will pardon her. --said to Jeremiah. You will be the ONE. At the very least you save your soul and those that watch you my save their souls because of you.

If you seek HIM, HE will not hide from you.

Isaiah 51:1 Hearken to Me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD; look unto the rock whence ye were hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye were digged.

Isaiah 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens, He is God; that formed the earth and made it, He established it, He created it not a waste, He formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD, and there is none else.19 I have not spoken in secret, in a place of the land of darkness; I said not unto the seed of Jacob: 'Seek ye Me in vain'; I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

Isaiah 45:22 Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else.

Isaiah 55:6 Seek ye the LORD while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near; 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the man of iniquity his thoughts; and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have compassion upon him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

Look around, is there any that you should trust? Only one is steadfast and strong. Seek the truth.

Yaakov
