Harden The Heart?

Exodus 10:1 And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Go in unto Pharaoh; for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might show these My signs in the midst of them;

The Hardening of the heart is always a difficult item to grasp when we have 'Free Will".

After pondering this and other things for a time, I will attempt to present what I have discovered.

First we need the accepted facts:

    1) The LORD was before creation, and is now and will be when creation is gone, HE still IS. 

    2) The LORD knew/knows HIS Creation, every event, every choice, every outcome. 

    3) Thus, there is no chance, accident or error, because if these were not known, it would not be possible to tell the "End at the beginning"(Isaiah 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done; saying: 'My counsel shall stand, and all My pleasure will I do') Ref: Does GOD Exist?

How might a heart be Hardened or Encouraged?

Forms which are used; Harden your own heart, by self importance, lack of concern for anything else, bad teachings, no correction as a child, a belief in a personal authority over everything else. Egocentric, vain, self absorbed, . . . . Encouraging yourself by self talk.

'Peer pressure' Defined as; noun
1. Social pressure by members of one's peer group to take a certain action, adopt certain values, or otherwise conform in order to be accepted.

Chemical Influences to get courage, like alcohol, mind altering, mood altering and awareness altering chemicals.

The point of listing these out is that we have the choice to do Right or Wrong, it was not taken away. 

In the worst of circumstances we still choose our actions. Even in war, Israeli and American Soldiers are held morally and ethically responsible for our actions. During Vietnam one Sargent was found guilty of a crime, even when following direct orders and with a gun to his head.

To show some that did not give in even at the highest cost, Daniel in the Lions Den; or the Fiery Furnace of Shadrak , Meshak and Abednigo. Their choices gained GOD'S protection and support. For myself, and you should also, bow to the will of GOD and Hold Fast to HIS LAW regardless of events around us.

It seems to me that many things we do, or our families have done, or just plain circumstance seems to determine out actions. This is of course the "Not My Fault" reasoning found throughout time. 

You should know that no matter who or what you want to blame, you have the choice to do that which is Lawful according to GOD or to not do so. We all have challenges in our life, but must choose what you will do. Your choice equals your resulting consequences.

"Punished by Our Iniquities"

"Punished by Our Iniquities", what does that mean?

Isaiah 64:6 And there is none that calleth upon Thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of Thee; for Thou hast hid Thy face from us, and hast consumed us by means of our iniquities.

Exodus 20: 4 . . . . I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me;

Our actions have consequences, while your sin maybe removed from your soul, your actions are in the world. For example Moses was forgiven, yet the consequences were not removed. Numbers 20.

King David, 2 Samuel 12:11 Thus saith the LORD: Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun. 12 For thou didst it secretly; but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.' 13 And David said unto Nathan: 'I have sinned against the LORD.'{S} And Nathan said unto David: 'The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die. 14 Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast greatly blasphemed the enemies of the LORD, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.'

The LORD still loves David, but the worldly consequences stood.

There was a time when we(the great 'we') knew that what I(personal 'I') did had not only effected me but mattered to others, not just those near and now, but the future of people. A famous example would be the Feud of the Hatfields and McCoys,a war between families which started with a wrong done to one person, lasting for generations. Or, consider the movie "It's A Wonderful Life", where it is discussed the value of one person and the lives he touched. One more that has effected hundreds of millions of lives, performed by 56 men signing a document called "The United States Declaration Of Independence". Seemingly small choices have tremendous consequences.

Next consideration:

For this one, you need accepted truths and I mean just accept for this moment the following:

1)  There is ONE CREATOR, HE created the HEAVENS AND THE EARTH(Creator).

2)  The Creator not only called light into existence but created in perfect detail everything created, so that over time everything acted exactly as planned. Performed with such precision and detail we are only starting to see the Glory of the Creator, via physics, astrophysics, geophysics, biology, DNA, nanotech to name a few, but those that will not see, do not see --their choice, their iniquity which bears the fruit of consequence.

3)  The Creator knows/knew every decision, every circumstances and every action/re-action, from the beginning to the end of time, before HE said "LET THERE BE LIGHT". He even knows/knew your thoughts as you read this.

4)  Your soul was a gift, not a creation, and IT really does matter. So much so, that all of creation was designed to give YOU the chance to be more that the dirt your body came from.

5)  When you sin, your soul is marked for death(non-existence?), not that the Creator wants the death of your soul. However, if you do not care enough to save your soul, then there is an answer for you: Isaiah 27:11 is your outcome.

6)  The Creator will not take away your choice, you must choose GOD or other: + is in the Book, while 0 and - are not in the Book of Life.

7)  How do you turn a - or 0 into a +? Isaiah 56:"1 Thus saith the LORD: Keep ye justice, and do righteousness; for My salvation is near to come, and My favour to be revealed. 2 Happy is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that holdeth fast by it: that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil."

8)  There are NO ACCIDENTS, NO MISTAKES, NO CHANCES; The CREATOR KNOWS/KNEW each event and the outcome before starting creation. As such, HIS purpose and plan are Righteous and for the best results. So everything has a purpose, there is a reason to exist or event to happen. You are required to make our choices. The issue is ALWAYS what You do with Your choices. You and I, like almost all life will not know now the importance of what we do, or do not do(our choices).

This is where others get into heaven and hell stories. We know that the Creator has created a book that bears the names of those souls which are the Creator's(Exodus 32), the names of the souls in the book are alive and are the Creator's. There are places of waiting, where souls wait for the last day, but I find no evidence of Heaven or Hell after the LAST DAY, only a New Heavens and New Earth where the Creator will reside among HIS people Always.

All of this is to point out that The Creator(GOD) gifted you a soul, with which you are to choose GOD Paths without being paid, forced or otherwise enticed with visions of heaven and hell. Heaven and Hell are not really described by Moses or the Prophets of the GOD OF ISRAEL in the Tanakh.

Last reference for understanding is Newton's Laws of Motion, presented via Wikipedia and a paraphrase which sums up an idea:  For each action there is an equal and opposite reaction. The results of our Wrongs or Rights continue until enough force is applied to stop or change direction of the out come. Your soul may be cleaned of the sin, but the world and its people have not been cleaned of yours or my sins. You have the power to choose to generate Good, so do so, the Writings of Moses will show you what GOD wants you to do.

What Have You Done?!

There are many questions which those in science should be looking into, which would advance our understanding of the Life, The Earth and the Universe. For example: What is required for a planet to support advanced life forms? Like say people. If we are to travel in space what is the chance of finding a place we could live?

However, these questions cannot be considered or even acknowledged, because they may point to the evidence of GOD. This according to the Intellectual and Scientific communities is unthinkable: That there maybe an intelligent designer, or even the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as reported in the Writings of Moses. The result is quite stunning in that the amount hatred, name calling and evil actions which come into play, because Logic, Evidence, Thought and Reason have become undesirable for use.

Does it really come down to this: one is either for GOD or Against GOD? This when even the complexity of even a single cell demonstrates a designer and there is not even a theoretical possibility of an accident. So I admit that the last line makes the question a absolute YES. A million more such theoretical impossibilities makes the opposite answer 1 to a Googolplex to the 100 power. [ googolplex =  number that is equal to 1 followed by a googol   and expressed as . ]

Time for a joke: Scientist now believe that they can make a human from dirt and challenge The Creator to a showdown. The Creator accepts the challenge, and say "You First." The scientist go outside to get some dirt and a booming voice says "That's my dirt, make your own."

While I find this amusing, I also find that Science attempts only to describe in a theory, what is seen and then attempts to make predictions to see if the theory is correct. The theory only stands until it fails, and must then be altered or replaced. This is why it is good to have theories, they are not fact only an opinion and therefore are fallible. While facts and truths should always remain facts and truths. Somewhere along the way this has been forgotten. It is a Shame.

This brings me back to the Garden of Eden, where every soul is required to choose GOD or not god, and the result is what happens to your soul.

In consideration of what was presented in the Intelligent Design(ID) vs Intellectual and Scientific(IS) I found "Isaiah 32:5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be noble. 6 For the vile person will speak villainy, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise ungodliness, and to utter wickedness against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and to cause the drink of the thirsty to fail. 7 The instruments also of the churl are evil; he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, and the needy when he speaketh right. 8 But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand."

Could this really be, the END OF DAYS?
