The Soul goes “Down” to be Lifted “UP”.


This line was brought up in Torah Study on the 26th of December 2009, as a midrash(Rabbinical Story) on Abram's trip to Egypt and then back to Canon. The paraphrase of the idea goes like this –Abram had to go down into the evil of Egypt to be test his soul and then come back “up” to the Promised Land, having survived the test. I will state now that this, to me is a load of leavings by cows, at least in the form used regarding Abram.


Don't get mad, I will tell you that the statement regarding the soul, I believe to have merit. For me there has always been a number of troubling questions about the reason we exist. H'shem created the Heavens and the Earth with all that is in them, evaluated appropriate condition of the created, judged the quality to be GOOD, Blessed it, then created the next in the series. Excellently done, but then H'shem created Man, in HIS image and breathed a soul into him. Why?

We were not judged GOOD, although WE were given CHOICE. The ability to choose between Good and Evil, Life and Death, Right and Wrong, this was given to us, but WE desire to act like the Dirt or Animal part of us, not the Holy part. Why should H'shem decide to make us choose?

He actually created the Earth (HIS Garden) for US and our choice. Why?

I look for the clues regarding the “Whys”. Is it because H'shem is expecting US to be better than anything else in creation? Did Geppetto(the puppet maker) in Pinocchio want a child when he created Pinocchio?, I would say yes, but Geppetto is not G-D, although the thought might not be far off the mark. An amount of evidence can be presented to indicate that H'shem is alone, NO OTHER gods, none before, none beside and none after. H'shem is a jealous G-D, and will not share HIS GLORY. H'shem put the Breath Of Life(Holy Spirit as a Soul) in Man formed from dirt and then said be Holy, for I, your G-D am Holy.


So G-D creates man and placed a tiny speck of Holiness in that man, gives him a choice, then tests mankind. The Soul goes “Down” from H'shem, to be tested and if GOOD, Lifted “UP”. The tests include everything where you or I are presented with a choice of Right or Wrong. Seems like some kind of “Weeding Out” of those souls, for some purpose we are not told about. Why?


Last, it is pointed out throughout the Tanach, that H'shem knows/knew the END of time at the Beginning, and told US about it. For me this was also a revelation, regarding the depth and breath of My G-D's KNOWLEDGE. Consider then: To know what the end actions of all people, their deeds, words, and choices they made, what the results from each and every interaction whether directly or indirectly inflicted by any set of events on a person. The variables involved with just trying to point out how complex this is idea is overwhelming. I have enough trouble thinking over a ten minute conversation with friends and all of the ramifications and input data about each perception recorded, that is hard to grasp. Also consider then: that G-D would be aware of maybe 18 billion people in 6,000 years and all of the choices each would make. That is really hard for me to grasp the idea and hold on to.

Oh, you might ask “How is it possible that any being could know all of a persons thoughts?” Remember that G-D put a little Holy Spirit in each one of us. It is not possible to do or think anything which G-D would not Know, no matter where you went, H'shem is always there with you and your thoughts. You still must choose, it is just that HE already knows what you chose, as if it has already happened for HIM, because knowing from the Beginning to End before saying "Let There Be . . .", all outcomes are already known. We still must live and make the choices, we are not forced to choose anything, so it is not predestined –just pre-known.

So back to the original thought, G-D set a soul into each of us, and then tests it, for HIS purposes. It really could be something beyond our comprehension, this reason and benefit for passing the test so our Soul can be lifted "UP" again.

A Question of Instructions.

1Kings13, In brief the Kingdom of King Solomon has been split by Hashem because of the turning away by King Solomon. Currently we have King Jeroboam for the Northern Kingdom(Ten Tribes and 10/11 - Levi) and Rehoboam for the Southern Kingdom(Judah and 1/11 - Levi). King Jeroboam does not want his kingdom going down to worship at the Temple, so he creates two Golden Calf Alters in the North. Hashem sends a prophet to speak unto the alter when the King comes to offer the first sacrifice. What the prophet speaks according to what Hashem has said, it comes true.

Our interest here is not the King or the alter, it is the prophet, for in this story to many events take place for a prophet with no name and some seemingly unrelated events to mean nothing. Let us take a look at what transpires with this prophet. The king is impressed with the words and then the actual events immediately following the pronouncements, he invites the prophet to have food and drink and rest. The Prophet replies that H'shem has said to me, take no drink, take no food there and return by a different road then how you arrived. The Prophet then leaves. An old prophet in the town hears this and goes to meet this Prophet. The old one tries to convince the Prophet to come back with him to eat and drink. The Prophet repeats all that H'shem has said. The old one says, I too am a prophet and an angel told me to bring you back to my house for food and water(this was a lie). The Prophet returns and eats and drinks there. Suddenly the Old Prophet declares to the Prophet that because you did flaunt the word of H'shem, you will die when you leave this place and your bones will not be buried with those of your fore-fathers. This all comes true.

So what can we learn here?

The Prophet demonstrated that he KNEW the instructions from H'shem, and these personal instructions he repeated twice. He apparently wanted to stop in and visit with the Old Prophet, for he took the statement that an angel said to do such and such rather than the word of H'shem. This sounds like Adam in the Garden, to me.

We are told in Mosaic Law that we are to trust a prophet, except when they go against the word of H'shem. If H'shem wanted this to happen, this Prophet would have been told by H'shem. The Prophet turned his back upon H'shem. Since when does an Angel over ride the word of H'shem? –Never. There is no excuse in this case that I can see, what about you?

We are each given to know the word of H'shem, in the Torah, in the Tanach, in a Bible, each of these gives us the ability to know and learn the Word. When we hear or are provided in some means information that we then assume to be true without verification with the Word of Hashem –WE are at risk of our Soul; our Life; our children's lives and that of our community! This is so, because we act in accordance to our beliefs even if we never speak about them to another human being.

If you are blessed to be a spiritual leader and you point others away from H'shem and HIS’s Laws, what will be your reward? This is simple to understand, --you can repent for your actions and deeds, thereby receive forgiveness; however, the souls that you mistreated will weight upon your soul. “Ezekiel 3:17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.”[King James Version of the Bible]. This is whole chapter gives confirmation to spiritual leaders and what they are required to perform.

If you think that you are not involved with this, try:

(Ezekiel 34:6) My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.
(Ezekiel 34:7) Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;
(Ezekiel 34:8) As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;
(Ezekiel 34:9) Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;
(Ezekiel 34:10) Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.

H'shem requires more from those that know better, and if you are opposed to H'shem, this is also taken care of.

Last item: Isaiah 27:11 ...”For they are a people without understanding(or not having the desire to know?); that is why their Maker will show them no mercy, their Creator will deny them grace.

Power Grab --ATTEMPTED

Korah – Power Grab –ATTEMPTED

Numbers 16:1 through 18:32 --Parsha Korah


In this story we have a power struggle for the glory and honor associated with Leading the Children of Israel. Korah a descendant of Levi, along with Dathan and Abiram descendants of Rueben attempt to take power from Moses and Aaron by force of numbers if not by physical force. Along with Koran are 250 leaders and elders of the tribes of Israel, know to be men of repute.


What seems to be lacking here is a knowledge of Hashem in WHOs service Moses and Aaron employed. Korah is a cousin to Moses and Aaron, of the Levi family which carries much responsibility already, so why an attempted take over?


When Korah and his gang confront Moses, Moses falls down on his face and never fights them (this is not Moses’ battle.) Moses then informs the crowd that Hashem will judge this in the morning. When Moses has finished with this statement, he informs them that “You have gone too far, Sons of Levi!”



This story points out to me that Korah and his followers are not here to worship The L-RD G-D, they are here for themselves, and their glory. If they had any wisdom at all, they would never have attempted this takeover. Hashem chooses and assigns people to jobs and tasks, whether we understand the reasoning or not.


Back to the story, Moses pleads with Hashem not to destroy all of the Children of Israel because of a few bad ones. Hashem relents and in the morning Korah and his fellows are of the same mind set as the previous night, they and all they possess and all who bond with them are swallowed by the earth in a moment. It actually says Numbers 16:43 “They went down alive into Sheol, with all that belonged to them, the earth closed over them and they vanished from the midst of the congregation.” Note: Sheol should be read as HELL, Alive into Sheol was unheard of, but it also means that the normal process is to go there after you die. This I take as one proof of a SOUL that continues after the body is dead and dies later –if it is not righteous.


This is not the end for it seems that when we have our mind and heart set on doing evil we will not sense the danger we are in. Hence, we find: The next day the whole Israelite community railed against Moses and Aaron, saying “You two have brought death upon the Lord’s people!” Moses again pleads with the Lord and sends Aaron with a fire pan with fire from the Alter, into the community to make atonement for the people, thereby saving most from the instant plague from Hashem. 14,700 died in moments from the anger of Hashem represented by the plague.


Torah also points out that this number (14,700)does not include the ones from Korah’s group on the previous day. Hashem does not like rebels and those that mutter against Him.


Many things can be learned in this section, the last I present is: Hashem is the one with the power and the glory. He guards His glory and His name steadfastly. He also guards those who love Him and keep his Laws and Rules by which we can Live!

May you seek Hashem and His Law with all that you are. If you do this, you will be successful.

Those who can not see?

Those who can not see? Part One

This is an unrecognized, real situation, existing from Moses's time until today and which was spoken of in the Torah and Tanach. Even in the news and on the radio today, comments are made regarding how most people can look at a thing for a long time and still not grasp anything of importance. An example for today would be speeches made by a politician. Very often they tell the truth regarding what their real intentions are, but most will not perceive this. Later people say “Where did that come from? I never heard them say that before!” especially after the politician does exactly what they said they would do. It is therefore not very surprising that H'SHEM via Moses makes the same observation.

Moses in Deuteronomy 29, starts by tell the children of Israel of the miracles and blessings which they themselves have seen and have had from the LORD. In verse 4: “Yet the LORD has not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.” The text then has Moses (and maybe always was) speaking for the LORD. This makes great sense to me. Maybe you will discover that you can understand this also.

A few things that are helpful to keep in mind:

Context for the Torah and Tanach.

All souls are the LORD'S, not just the children of Israel.

In the first deal the Lord makes with Abram in Genesis 12. Verse 3 “...Because of you, all families of the earth will bless themselves.” A possible understanding of this that “all families will learn something important because of you”. What could possibly be learned because of Abram? --That the LORD is G-D, that there is only One, that we are to Love the LORD with all of our Heart, our Soul, our Being. I come to this conclusion because of the stories and their outcomes throughout the Tanach(Old Testament).  The LORD appears to want all of us to learn that, and  if you follow the LORD and HIS LAWs it means life for your SOUL, otherwise …. learn from the descendants of Abram. If WE, The Children of Israel Learn and Do this, Redemption is Attained.

The soul is more important than the body.

It is really the Death of the Soul or Spirit that is of concern to H'SHEM?

It should be what concerns us. Humans read death as the death of the body, as we see in the argument between the serpent and Eve in the garden. (Genesis 3:3) But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. (Genesis 3:4) And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die. This would indicate that the LORD does not say what he means or lies. If the serpent was that smart, why did he not say in response to Eve: --eat of that tree over there for it is the Tree Of Life, then you can eat of this tree? Why is this story in the Torah(Five Books of Moses)? What are we to learn from the Creation Story?

In (Ezekiel 18:4) Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. (Ezekiel 18:20) The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. (Ezekiel 18:21)But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. (Ezekiel 18:22) All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live. [1] That last sounds easy, but people get in the way of understanding and doing. It is a lot easier to do than we are lead to believe by people, although it still requires self control and effort, but you (individually) can do it. Again, this is regarding the Soul not the body.

The sins of the Father still have an effect for three or four generation. Consider this as a explanation please: If a you do bad things, and have children, the children will see what you do and continue those actions in their lives. This process is only broken when children arise that decide that there is a better way and start questioning the way things are, this takes time. If you watch you can see these things around you. If you do not want to wait for the understanding to happen, then I suggest that a reading of the Books of Samuel, Kings and Chronicles demonstrate these actions. You could actually discover the same types of events in standardized history, if you care to search out the stories.

What If . . . .?

What If . . . . has started so many statements, I doubt that there is a means to estimate the usage of that phrase. What if G-D is not real? What if people wrote the Books of Moses in order to give power to ...? What if the Torah and Tanach are just lies?

My response is, What if . . . .it is TRUE, all of it? What if G-D IS and the Books of Moses were dictated to Moses?

So how can we know the Truth? --I know that Man Kind cannot write a book or series of books without flaws in them. Even after writing, re-writing, and again re-writing, then editing, checking and editing then, . . . . Using computers we create huge documents, but not with out errors. In the Torah (Five Books of Moses), written more than two thousand five hundred years ago with skin, ink and quill. Copied with such a demand for correctness that even one dot on the page out of place, the page is removed and re-written for accuracy of the texts. This document has been read, studied, re-studied again and again by hundreds of thousands of scholars.

Where is the mistake that can be used to declare the TORAH is a lie? Okay, that is harsh, but if dictated by G-D, over seen by HIM, it is then to HIS Glory or failure. I have not been able to find the flaw myself, and I have looked for them most of my life. Do you know where the flaw is? Can you prove it to me? Will you prove it to me? Other wise...moving on.

This leads me to this: What if you cannot prove the Torah is a lie, would it then be to your benefit to assume there is truth there? If it is true, then G-D is true. Maybe we should find out what HE wants and what we need to do and DO IT?

I present this information only as a way of showing that Isaiah 5:20 . . . Those who call evil good and good evil; Who present darkness as light and light as darkness . . .  

These things are but signs of how close we are to THAT DAY. 

So what does the Five Books of Moses(Torah) tell us about “Human Rights” and “What Is Right?” What is demonstrated there for us to know?

First I would present that “Human Rights” is a choice. A choice where we as humans have decided that whatever we want is our right. A choice that Morals should not impede, for we have the right to choose this . . . ”whatever it is” for ourselves. We are very great at self-justification on these grounds. 

Genesis 3:17 . . . ”Because you did as your wife said and ate of the tree about which I COMMANDED YOU, “YOU SHALL NOT EAT OF IT” . . . 

There are two choices presented in this verse, two crimes committed. The first and most important Adam choose Eve over The LORD, if this were not important a simple statement that Adam ate of the tree would be enough. In this case it was not enough, therefore The LORD’s is the great concern. Adam did not choose G-D over his “Human Rights.” Result :: Have you seen Eden, The Garden? I think we miss placed it and don’t seem to remember the way back. 

Genesis 6:5_8 . . . The LORD saw man’s wickedness on the earth, and how every plan devised by his mind was nothing but evil all of the time(Human Rights?). Result:: wipe the earth of everything with the breath of life on the land, except those in the Ark. 

Genesis 9. What did Ham do to his father Noah, that Noah should curse his grandson Canaan, with such a curse that the LORD maintains the curse even now?

Genesis 19 –The story of Sodom and Gomorrah. Verse 4 When the men of Sodom, young and old –all the people to the last man –gathered about the house. And they shouted to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us, that we may be intimate with them.“ In verse 8 Lot offers his two daughters who have not known a man. The men of Sodom persisted in their demands . . . Result::The Valley where Sodom and Gomorrah were, became almost totally a cinder before dawn. 

There are many things listed in the Torah which are forbidden but (Leviticus 18:22) Do not lie with a male as one lies with a woman; it is an abhorrence. (Is seems very straight forward to me.)

(Leviticus 18:23) Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. 
(Leviticus 18:24) Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
(Leviticus 18:25) And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.

(Deuteronomy 22:5) The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

I have heard that these items are “Human Rights”. (choice?) But, The LORD is very explicit in what is RIGHT. Are we still doing what Adam did? Choosing Human Rights over G-D? Do you think it will turn out better this time? 

Last:: Why should I or You try so hard to be Righteous? In Jeremiah 4, The LORD gave Jeremiah things to say and do to Israel and Jerusalem, but Jeremiah argues that this is not right. In chapter 5, Jeremiah is sent to find in Jerusalem one man: “if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it.” 

Maybe one of us will be good enough to save a great many. I am will to try to be righteous.

Personal Note: The Tanach is not an easy read for me, and must be studied with an open heart, seeking G-D, and the truth to know and do that which is righteous. I have found that it is well worth the effort and time.

Tuff Questions about G_D

Today I am asking questions this time, and I would like your response.... if you have one.

To set up the questions I need to present some assumptions:

1)  The G_D of Abraham, Issac and Jacob is G_D

2)  Moses was told by G_D what to write in what we call, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.  Therefore, if the original text is wrong, G_D made it flawed.

3)  G_D loves all of HIS creation, especially mankind. When we make a mistake, we really only need to accept that G_D is G_D, Tell HIM we are sorry(and really mean it), try harder to be better, then almost always G_D is ready to accept us back and forgives us.

4) That G_D has declared many times that HE is the only G_D, None were before Him,  None are beside Him, None will be after Him. G_D is jealous and will not share his Honor or Glory with another.

These seem so straight forward to me, so do not understand "Why does most of the humans on this planet not what to know or acknowledge G_D?"

It seems that mankind looks for any reason to not accept the word of G_D, Why?

It's Official

It is official, I am a JEW!

I came out of the mikvah May 21, 2009 in Los Gatos, CA and claimed my Hebrew name, which in English is Jacob.

There are many differing reactions to this particular event, some of which you are experiencing even as you read this. Besides the Congratulations and Mozal Tov types of responses, there are also the, “Why?”, and “Are you kidding?”, types of responses.

I would like to tell you why I decided and chose to be a Jew. The challenge for me here is to make it short but understandable.

Foundation: I know that the L’RD IS, that there is only ONE, and that I am to Love the L’RD with all my heart, all of my soul and all of my being. What is “Love” again? I only asked this one because Man-kind has been trying to define that one since the beginning of thought. So, I am not going to explain what I know about that word. I will explain that everything that I am, everything I have done, everything I have been, has only been possible because the L’RD has done miracles for me. These miracles are some of the reasons that I know that HE IS and that HE has taken notice of ME. He has also heard my prayers for other people. This does not mean that I always get the answer I want. Sometimes I am not even sure what the BEST outcome would be, so I only explain my concerns and thoughts to HIM.

I have learned that HE must have known all of our choices and what we(each one of us) are going to do before HE said “Let There Be Light!” The evidence is in the Tanach(Hebrew Old Testament), for all to read and try to understand. I have learned so much in the decades that I have been seeking wisdom and G’D. I know that all I have learned is only a single drop in a five gallon bucket of understanding. Here are a couple examples: The snake in the garden knows that we(people) do not understand that the L’RD is talking about the death of our soul, not the body; G’D’s real anger at Adam was not because he ate of the fruit, it was because Adam chose to listen to Eve instead of G’D; last, that Adam really fell down because he was not “paying attention” –Eve took of the fruit and ate, and then gave to the man and he did eat( no discussion with Eve) and Adam told Eve about not eating of that tree not G’D.

My studies of religion and many of the various flavors of religion, lead me to distrust all of them by the time I was fifteen years of age. Judaism is the closest text I have found to the source of knowledge about the L’RD. Here is why I study the Hebrew text, I have not found any deceit or lies or errors in the text, the only errors have been in our understandings of the text. But as you can see from the previous paragraph, I am continually learning.

Why be a Jew? Because of the Children of Israel, they are the only ones we can prove exist. Because I want to be as close to G’D as I can get. Because, I know that the tribe of Judah and all of the chosen people have the task of witnessing to all of the world that G’D IS, WAS and WILL ALWAYS BE. This is HIS Universe not ours, HIS rules not ours, HE gives the Love and Mercy we don’t. If I really believe all of this, I should not only be telling others to do it, I must do it also. I must live my believe and faith not just talk about it. So I am, demonstrating what I believe.

I continually pray that the L’RD will put me on the path in front of HIM and KEEP ME THERE, I ask that I not be allowed to turn left nor right, that HE will fill my mouth with HIS words; my head with knowledge; my heart with understanding and my soul with HIS spirit so that I may always do that which is righteous. I also ask that HE have mercy on me and forgive my sins when I slip and fall because I was not on guard and I am only dirt, but I am trying and must continue to try harder.

Surprise

Surprise!

When I look around at the world by, attending to the news services, listening to people, studying and thinking, I am stunned into silence. Is there anyone I can model my life after? What do you think, how do you choose to model your life after? Well if you know a Righteous Person(one identified by their actions and life examples) you have an example of how to live, maybe!

We are continually presented with stories starting out like: This Rabbi did this . . . ! ; That Bishop did … . . . ! ; In Berkeley California, they …. ! ; This Republican Senator or Democrat Congressman/woman did such and so; and on and On and ON, –Enough!

It does not matter how people are identified by: race, creed, position, educational degree, community, religious affiliation, but every one of us can have the worst thoughts and actions. Is this because we are made from dirt that we focus on dirt? . Your soul came to you Holy and from G-D, so: You don't have to be dirt. You don't have to stay or act as dirt. All you MUST do is turn to back G-D, Humble Yourself before the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth and say “I am sorry for … . . . , please forgive me, teach me right from wrong and have mercy upon my soul.” That is the easy part, the hard part is taking control of yourself. Ezekiel Chapter 18 explains this in detail.

In Isaiah 56:1 …. Observe what is right and do what is just... 2) Happy is the man that does this, The man who holds fast to it: Who keeps the Sabbath and does not profane it: Who keeps his hand from doing any evil.”

In Malachi 3:22(or 4:4)) “Remember ye the law of Moses MY servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, even Statues and ordinances.”(JPS1917).

I would seriously suggest that we study to understand what is in the five books of Moses, for from that then rest of the Old Testament/Tanach shows a history of Good vs. Bad behavior and the results, along with the prophets which are calling US back to G-D before it is too late.

I have a role model, the Torah is where I learn and seek that which is right.

What will you answer?

In the not very distant future, each of us will be made to face our actions and our in-actions. This will not be as a group, club, town, family, state, country or race --to be sure that those are all important, it is our own actions and choices that will be judged. Be sure that even if you deny G-D and all of the Laws presented by Moses, you are being judged and the effects carry-on long after you are gone.

You may well ask, “How can this be?”, I am after all: just doing what I am shown; told to do; doing the best I can; a woman; a child; a man; have no reason to believe in ___; an atheist; …. Go ahead pick a cause, fill in the blanks, decline to decide, it does not matter how you see IT –You are seen. You are seen by G-D. You are seen by: your son; daughter; the traffic camera on the corner; other people in the coffee shop; other drivers; people on the bus that passed while you were going to the store;.... What you do, what you say, how you act, how you re-act, how you vote, what you write,.....ok, maybe you get the point, every choice you make effects every person that has seen, heard, felt or has received an outcome from your actions are effected by your choices.

The Torah says that the LORD brings the punishment upon the 3rd and even the 4th generations. I say that your actions speak clearly and distinctly to those generations. We instruct others by our choices and our actions, all the more so when we are unaware that we are doing so. When We teach HATE, dishonor, our morals, our ethics, stealing, lying, selflove, compassion, honor, faith or anything else about Right and Wrong, our demonstrated beliefs cause the generations after us reap the results. Go ahead, really take a look at your actions and choices today. Can you see how what you do matters to so many? Maybe you can think about yesterday also.

I know that G-D is Alive and that there is only One. I also know that there is only truth in the TORAH. The statements of right and wrong are needed, they tells us how to have a whole and healthy life and a safe, healthy World. We are accountable to G-D and to our families, friends and the world.

So when G-D answers that question: Is this True?, Or if you can not deal with that, Who gave you your values? Who are you showing those values to? Is this really the result you want from your life? How about for you child or children or for anybody else, is this really going to make you look good?

Choosing

I have found that there is only one thing that I CAN GIVE HASHEM(G-D), something that HE can not take or create, and no one else can give, ...My Choice. I Choose G-D, above all else. Adam chose to listen to Eve rather than G-D, the ground was cursed(Genesis 3:17). In first Kings 14: A Prophet set to Jeroboam when he is going to make an offering to an Idol, that is interesting but when the prophet did not do as G-D instructed him.... It has the kind of flavor as Adam's choice.

Forgiveness, Why?

The world is in a terrible place, The End Days and all. Prophetic events are all around us, Daniel, Isaiah, Ezekiel....

I have been listening to someone who is seeking to understand what is right and is therefore evaluating what they are hearing, seeing and then learning. People that can do that are great examples for all people. I wonder if the person knows about the covenant at Mt. Horeb? By the way the Soul is the death I fear, not the body. Oh, that is what Ezekiel 18 is taking about. It is the body that gets punished as a group, hence the curses to teach (Lev. 26). Our children usually act as we have shown them to act, we give them the values they live their lives by therefore the values that the parents live by will usually be how the children live, once in a while someone will think that something is wrong and try to change their life. That is why punishment is said to go to the 3rd and 4th generation. The person mentioned above chose to see and change, I have chosen to do so, there are others that change, not many, not enough.( --Personal note: I was asked “Why should I be forgiven?” While I was taken aback, I have already given much thought about the need and reasons for forgiveness. If you have no chance to escape Sheol(Numbers 16:30), then why should a person even try to be good, it could be said as "I might as well do whatever I want." This has been played out in some movies in the U.S. If all you need to do is Confess to the L'RD, Change Your ways and sin no more, You do have a reason to change and to hope.--)

Who are the 70 Elders in Ezekiel?

The Sagas have said that Ezekiel is controversial, because things that we have adopted as true are under attack. What if it is our beliefs that are wrong? Those same beliefs that caused prophets to be sent to by Hashem to Israel prior to and during the first and second Temple destructions.

If the seventy elders that Ezekiel sees are performing abominations, why would it be assumed that their teachings then and after, which become Mishnah and the foundations of Talmud, are pure?(Holy) Better than Torah in that where they differ, Torah has less weight or value. Maybe Ezekiel is talking to us today. Telling us that we should take to heart what the prophets have been saying since Moses(approx. 3,650 years). The point has been made that the people of that time were not listening. I don't believe that there has been a change in our attention Today.

The 70 elders are the source of Oral Tradition, in Ezekiel 8, starting at verse 9 then through 13.

25 Men bowing to the Sun facing east away from the Place of the L’RD , how is this different from Greeting the Sabbath Bride in facing west(facing away from G-D, also not found in the Torah or Tanach)?Ezekiel 8:14 & 15.

Last evidence compared to today, Ezekiel 8:17) ...”Do you see, O’mortal? Is it not enough for the House of Judah to practice the abominations that they have committed here, that they must fill the country with lawlessness and provoke Me still further...” This last is not the Blind leading the blind, it is that religious leaders cause followers to go astray from G-D. Don’t take my word for it. Read Ezekiel with an open heart, read it slowly, to savor every meaning, without preconceived notions and ideas. No Training to be used, let G-D show you the meaning.

King Nebuchadnezzer's Dream

I am dismayed by many things these days, status of the world, where prophecy says we are going and how closely they match-up. The world, like never before is performing events describable as the End-of-Days prophecies. The L’RD is performing all that HE has proclaimed.

In my reading of the Book of Daniel a few years ago, while reading Daniel 2:28 ...." He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what is to be at the end of days." The story of the statue in the dream. 2:31 ...."this statue ,....stood before you..." Nebuchadnezzar is in Babylon (location 20 miles south of Baghdad today, where the Euphrates and the Tigris Rivers meet)?

My Comment: The feet of this statue are part clay and iron, even the toes are described as such. Recently Iraq became a two party government, one strong and seeking dominance over the other weaker more willing to "cry foul". This is the first Arab democratic state that I have heard of. You make a point of saying that this represents Rome. I take it that this particular prophecy is about Babylon’s history ending in Iraq, the Sunni and Shiite groups. How would Babylon instead of Rome, effect our understanding of the prophecies if we read it that way?

We have known about Rome for a long time, and this statue does not reside long after the feet come to be, then The unseen Hand makes the ball.....Destruction. This seems too short for the common interpretation

He knew the End at the Beginning?

What can it mean, that G'D KNEW the end at the beginning? Is it possible that G'D knew what I am going to decide before HE started the World? Is there any chance that G'D will not follow through with the curses and the trouble leading up to the END of DAYS?

Numbers 23:19) God is not man to be capricious, or mortal to change His mind. Would He speak and not act, promise and not fulfill?

Isaiah 45:18
) For thus saith the Lord, The Creator of Heaven who alone is God, Who formed the earth and made it, Who alone established it– He did not create it a waste, But formed it for habitation: I am the LORD, and there is none else.
Isaiah 45:19) I did not speak in secret, at a site in the land of darkness; I did not say to the stock of Jacob, “Seek Me out in a wasteland”– I the Lord, who foretell reliably, Who announce what is true.

Isaiah 46:9) Bear in mind what happened of old; For I am God, and there is none like Me. I am divine, and there is none else.
Isaiah 46:10) I foretell the end from the beginning, And from the start, things that had not occurred. I say: My plan shall be fulfilled; I will do all I have purposed.

These are only a couple of instances where God makes these statements. A couple of years ago while reading Isaiah, I was struck by the message in 46:10) I foretell the end from the beginning.... I started looking at the Tanach differently. I started seeing the hand of G’D in events in the Bible and Today. Prophecies become more alive when you can see that the text is not haphazard in nature. For example Genesis 1:28 “....Be fruitful and increase, fill the earth and master it;” in the JPS 1999 translation this is listed as a blessing. I now see it in context with Is. 46:10 where “...My plan shall be fulfilled;....”

How has this change my thinking? I see the story of the ARK and Noah as a lesson about faith, obedience and how One Righteous Person can save much. I don’t see that G’D wants to wipe out the earth, but wants to teach us many lessons. Mostly it identifies problems with human perception and understanding. We have a short term point of view, at best a few years, but the Lord’s plans are Thousands of Years. The Lord’s knowledge of us and our decisions must be just as vast and detailed. Truely, no thing is hidden from G’D, but each of us must still make our choices, for even deciding not to make a choice is a choice.

The First Temple’s destruction

In a recent discussion, it was presented that the destruction of the First Temple was a shock and a surprise to the people. I propose that this could only be true if One does not or was not exposed to history, prophecy or G’D. Which of course there were a least a large number of prophets of G’D(Hundreds of them), they gave messages to the people,the Kings and us. These messages are the LORD’s complaints which are in abundance in the Torah and Tanach. The people turn away from G'D, then the people are in trouble and pain, turn back to G'D for salvation and when they are again saved, ....they again trun away from G'D. Obviously, almost no one was paying attention. It does seem to relate to Noah’s Ark in that for a long time the evidence was presented, but nobody noticed the ARK or Noah's work.

Here are my reasons for this statement.

The First Temple’s destruction happened because, King Solomon was told by G’D what would happen if this people turned from the LORD. King Solomon knew the destruction this was going to happen. When he dedicated the temple he asked for mainly two things. An heir on the throne of his father King David(1Kings 8:25) and G'D's promise to be attentive to this place(1Kings 8:29..53).

Why is such a prayer needed, when King Solomon’s reign is a time of peace and grace? Does he know something that we should know?

The wording of the prayer, the response by G'd and a review of Lev. 26:31..33 and Deuteronomy 28:64, 31:17&18 is warranted.

How important are the Laws given to Moses? Deut. 32:45..47.

The greatest thing that prophet King Solomon(prophet** in that G'D spoke to him and in the writings he tells us) did was getting G'D's promise that G’D would Perpetually attend to the location HE placed HIS Name, even when G'D said hear will turn away and not hear us. 1Kings 8:22..53 -- the prayer of King Solomon,
1Kings 9:3..9 The LORD's Response to the King's Prayer.

For me, I find that the Torah holds the greatest thing in the world. It contains G'D's teachings for the people he created when we are but dust, without the breath HE placed in us. The Breath, The Soul this is what the LORD counts as valuable, it seems that the SOUL is tested here for something the LORD has designed for later. Walk before ME and be HOLY for I YOUR GOD AM HOLY. (Paraphrased)

Question: How many of the curses are not fulfilled yet? Background: Deuteronomy is specific about the curses, and Deut. 30:1 sets the end events in a what must happen before Israel repents.

A new understanding?

Recently, I heard it said that Ezekiel invented a new understanding of what G'D wants.

Ezekiel the Prophet did not invent a new understanding, he merely clarified what the Snake in the Garden of Eden already knew. We think that the death of the body is what G'D talks about when HE speaks of death, but Ezekiel in Chapter 18 tries to explain that the SOUL, the breath of G'D belongs to G'D. It is that part that gets punished for SIN. When the death of the body takes place, you no longer are allowed to repent to G'D. Your test is over. The difference between the Righteous(Holy) and the Sinner(un-Holy) is ONE SIN vs Repentance for the sin and the refraining from do it again, this is where the LORD makes you Righteous again.

Ezekiel is not defining something new, he simply attempts to clear up a bad understanding of what G'D wants. Because of the misunderstanding it has been construed that: "If you suffer in this world, you must be a sinner." Conversely, if you are not punished in this world you are not a sinner. This has been used to question whether there is a G'D or maybe G'D does not mean what HE has said. This is a serious mistake that is continually used against having faith. After all when I look around I see many, many, bad people that seem to have great blessings and no punishment, I have wondered what is wrong in my understanding.

I know this: We are all tested, the great and the small, the rich and the poor, to understand (SEE) whether we will chose G'D or not.

Blessings or Prophecy?

Recently I was told by a Rabbi at the Torah Study I attend that Blessings by GOD are different that Prophecies or Curses. I have come to the understanding that every word or thought by GOD will happen. The chosen people according to Moses will be cursed until they all return to G'D in the manner described in Leviticus 26 and in Deuteronomy 30.

If they had only!!!!

I have heard it mentioned that if they(Judah), had realized the sign(prophecy**) when King Jehoahaz of Judah was taken into captivity in Egypt. They would have turned back to G'D. [It was King Josiah of Judah, King Jehoahaz father who was presented with a scroll found in the Holy of Holys by the priest Hilkiah. This scroll, when it was shown to King Josiah, caused the King to tear his clothes and cry out loud.(Possibly the Book of Deuteronomy which contains blessings and curses in regards to following G’D’s Laws given to Moses)] If this scroll is the Book of Deuteronomy then **Chapter 28: 36) The Lord will drive you, and the king you have set over you, to a nation unknown to you or your fathers, where you shall serve other gods, of wood and stone. 37) You shall be a consternation, a proverb, and a byword among all the peoples to which the Lord will drive you. (All quotes today are from Jewish Publication Society(JPS) 1999 translation)

I disagree with the assertion that they(Judah) would have returned to the LORD if they understood the events. I would also point to Leviticus 26 which describes when, how and why the children return to the LORD.

Today, Tuesday, March 24, 2009 with the state of the world is: Beauty is everywhere. The potential for the Day HIGH. Man kinds actions.... can we start over? Yeeuk!!

The bad guys are still be very bad, in that most every crime is on the rise, even if not reported. Abuse of others for our own benefit is rampant. The desire to be good is almost gone.

If you are seeking the truth from most humans, you are given back an argument of "Truth, it depends on your point of view". That is what I see today and this scenario has been increasing daily for several years now.

There was a time when in business, the motto was that "If you were going to take your clothes off for anyone, it would be your banker." The reason for such a idea was simple, you banker, who was your banker, knew you, your market and could help you be successful or a failure by not helping or mis-directing. You had better know your banker.

I grant you, that level of service and knowledge by bankers has not been around for a long time. Like so many things, we consumers have just accepted what has come to us, or happened to us because it is too much trouble to do it right.

But, if we are not doing it right, don't we deserve whatever happens to us? Are we working diligently to know what is RIGHT from WRONG? Or, are we just going with the flow?

Know this as a fact, without reservation, The LORD knows your most intimate information, thoughts, desires, deeds, your heart. If there was ever a greater friend or advocate than yout Mother and/or your Father it is GOD, Your Creator.

If you were NOW standing before the LORD to answer for your life, how would you do? Were you honest with yourself?(Only you know what you answered, and you should be at least honest with You.) Would you like to change your answer? It is easy to change, more difficult to maintain, ...in the near term.

If your answer is not that "I am righteous, I am ready", maybe you should find out what you need to do to change your answer. You answered the question and if you were honest with yourself, turn to GOD right now, tell HIM what you want to say. MAKE SURE THAY WHAT YOU SAY IS WHAT YOU REALLY WANT TO SAY, YOUR ARE TALKING TO THE ALMIGHT. THIS IS NOT A JOKE. HE HEARS AND KNOWS YOU!!!.

If Want Truth...

My personal search has lead me, to the idea that if any Torah contradicts itself, then there is reason to doubt all of it.
Yet, in all of my readings and seeking and attempts to understand the Torah and Tanach, I have found only truth. This is not surprising to me, GOD is causing the writing not man. In the sedition of Miriam and Aaron against Moses, the LORD states Numbers 12:8) "With him(Moses) I speak mouth to mouth, plainly and not in riddles...." How could there be an error in the Torah that the LORD caused to be written? The Living GOD that created the heavens and the earth would make certain that the books HE caused to be written, are true and accurate for HIS purposes. Isaiah 40:19) reports "The nations are but a drop in the bucket, Reckoned as dust on a balance;" how do we have the right or understanding to modify or re-interpret the Word of GOD with statements like: “You can not know or live by the Laws of Moses”? When Moses says in Deuteronomy30:15) "See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;". G-D grants understanding and wisdom to any that seek to know and understand.

From the Prophet Moses until this day, the LORD has said return to my Law and Live.

How do we or I return to GOD? Leviticus 26:40) If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me; 41) And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity: ..... 45) But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.

....Deuteronomy30:10 if thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the law; if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul.....A very enlightening read, Deuteronomy 30.

OR! (Ezekiel 18:21) But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. 22) All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.

(Malachi 4:4) Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

Remember: Love GOD and keep HIS commandments and statues.

US Air Force Article

This is a great article regarding the US Air Force, and military gifts. It is in response to someone that has not considered the value of the gifts that they have recieved. These gifts were given by those who willingly put their lives on the line to defend a Nation founded in order give safety, civil and egual civil rights to its citizens. The type of attitude this complainer has, has plagued America for a long time, but getting worse everyday since the Korea and Vietnam conflicts. Unfortunately, the number of defenders has consistantly decreased, to the point that there maybe no way for us to have a United States of America or these freedoms much longer. Luke AFB is west of Phoenix and is rapidly being surrounded by civilization that complains about the noise from the base and its planes, forgetting that it was there long before they were. A certain lieutenant colonel at Luke AFB deserves a big pat on the back. Apparently, an individual who lives somewhere near Luke AFB wrote the local paper complaining about a group of F-16s that disturbed his/her day at the mall.

When that individual read the response from a Luke AFB officer, it must Have stung quite a bit.

The complaint:
'Question of the day for Luke Air Force Base:

Whom do we thank for the morning air show? Last Wednesday, at precisely 9:11 A.M, a tight formation of four F-16 jets made a low pass over Arrowhead Mall, continuing west over Bell Road at approximately 500 feet. Imagine our good fortune! Do the Tom Cruise-wannabes feel we need this wake-up call, or were they trying to impress the cashiers at Mervyns early bird special?

Any response would be appreciated.

Regarding 'A wake-up call from Luke's jets' On June 15, at precisely 9:12 a.m., a perfectly timed four- ship fly by of F-16s from the 63rd Fighter Squadron at Luke Air Force Base flew over the grave of Capt. Jeremy Fresques. Capt Fresques was an Air Force officer who was previously stationed at Luke Air Force Base and was killed in Iraq on May 30, Memorial Day.

At 9 a. m. on June 15, his family and friends gathered at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City to mourn the loss of a husband, son and friend. Based on the letter writer's recount of the fly by, and because of the jet noise, I'm sure you didn't hear the 21-gun salute, the playing of taps, or my words to the widow and parents of Capt. Fresques as I gave them their son's flag on behalf of the President of the United States and all those veterans and servicemen and women  who understand the sacrifices they have endured..

A four-ship fly by is a display of respect the Air Force gives to those who give their lives in defense of freedom. We are professional aviators and take our jobs seriously, and on June 15 what the letter writer witnessed was four officers lining up to pay their ultimate respects.

The letter writer asks, 'Whom do we thank for the morning air show? Questions, Answers and Observations 17 Mar 2009

Welcome back. I pray that you had a restful Sabbath(seventh day).

Today is Tuesday, yesterday I had started back on the continuation of Friday’s blog by reading what was posted and comparing that to what I had written by hand. I have not been a blogger prior to this or a writer of any significance, so I am finding my voice and style. I have already been told that I should post video conversations as I am very “One on One” expressive. Maybe sometime in the future this will be done. I will let you know when that happens.

What should you expect to read about here:  Anything that seems most pressing today along with perspectives on Torah, Tanach and News commentary. I will continually work on the Torah and Tanach commentaries, which will be built in to a library of statements of Right and Wrong as defined in GOD's Word. I started trying to demonstrate short answers to questions like: GOD?, Torah?, and found that the answers in short form are lengthy discussions at best. I will also try to answer any question along presented, to the best of my understanding.

Today: Israeli news sources and for that matter the main media sources of the world are happily presenting desires, fears and dealings in the negotiations for a kidnaped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, who is being held hostage by Hamas.

The background is: **”Early on Sunday morning, 25 June 2006, Shalit was captured by Palestinian militants who attacked an Israeli army post on the Israeli side of the southern Gaza Strip border after having crossed through an underground tunnel near the Kerem Shalom border crossing.”

It appears that the demand by Hamas may now be up to 1400 Palestinian terror prisoners, for one IDF Soldier.  

I have been in the US Military twice, both of which I volunteered for duty. My concern in this issue is the devaluation of the great gift that a soldier(defender) gives for GOD, their country, neighbors, friends and family, .... The idea of trading one Terrorist(caught in the act or after the act) for my life is a thing of HORROR to me. The thought of a trade of 10, 20, 50, 540 or 1400 terrorists for one soldier, says that the life of that soldier is more valuable than every new life lost as a result of the trade. There will be men, women, children, babies, policemen, firefighters, medics, emergency workers, health care providers and soldiers that will be killed, maimed, traumatized and deeply effected by any such trade. Everyone effected by even ONE act of terror by any of these terrorists, makes that soldiers gift less than values less, it makes that soldier a terrorist weapon.


Could there be any possibility that as defender of our people, that we are willing to accept being a weapon against our family, friends, neighbors, country or GOD? –James

A Different Reading of Tanach Stage 1

During the story of creation, each thing(s) that is made is examined, found(known or seen) to be good(correct) before that day’s work is finished. Except when the LORD made man(the gardener), formed from the dirt by the LORD who caused HIS breath to be in the man.(Hence- “Leviticus 11:45 For I am the LORD that brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.” OR “Leviticus 19:2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.” ) Man is known to be less than GOOD, but man was created in the image of God and given the responsibility to Choose. The choice is, to do what God said, or to disregard what God said.

From then until now, each of us is tested. This is always to see whether or not we will chose wisely. Adam and Eve are the first testees.

The First Test –A tree in the middle of the garden, God said “Genesis 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou may freely eat: Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eat thereof thou shalt surely die.”(King James Translation, although the 1917 version of Jewish Publishing Society identical)

The Tools –The man’s helper(Eve), the tree and the snake.(side note: the man and the animals could talk to each other, then.)

The Result –The man did eat –a death does happen, but God’s charge is more subtle than “eating from the tree”. The charge is that the man heeded her(Eve) words when God told him(Adam) something else. The ground is cursed now. “Genesis 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because you hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded you, saying, You shalt not eat of it: cursed [is] the ground for your sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat [of] it all the days of thy life”

There are two sins for Adam, first he did eat of the tree. Second and more important for US, he chose not to heed the word of God. In our defense(today’s time), God moved through the Garden and spoke with mankind, so Adam had first hand knowledge of God and God’s word. And he still fell on his face, we must seek God and strive diligently to understand His Law.

From that point forward, Mankind continues the on a down hill path, with very few exceptions. One of the exception is Enoch, who is the first that does not die.(Another interesting topic for discussion.)

Interpretation, is it required to read the Tanach?

Interpretation, is it required to read the Tanach?

The answer is: a multi-layered maybe. What Interpretation can I bet my soul on? Or my children’s souls? Or my family’s souls? If I follow, why do I follow? What am I being told to do? Why am I being told this? IS IT RIGHT?  


Like so many things in life, the perspective makes all of the difference when attempting to understand, anything. For example, I am not able to read and understand the meaning of the biblical hebrew found in the Torah. Therefore I must use many different translations of the five Books of Moses, also know as the Torah. Add to those translations, Hebrew/English and English/Hebrew, Greek/English and English/Greek(for New Testament) dictionaries and a couple of concordances. This gets me closer to each individual word as well as the possible variations of that word. The next step for me is to read the entire passage to make sure that I have the best meaning/fit for the words in question. Last and of course not the least of these steps is to open my heart to the word of G-D, after all HE is the author of its meaning. Now, read the Old Testament(Tanach)(and the New) this way over and over again for years. What I get is a different perspective with more refinement and understanding, from each reading, each study session, coupled with prayer and contemplation. All of this is interpretation. The interpretation that I am betting my soul on. 

The last is probably this most important piece to keep in mind, You Are Betting Your Soul on what every decision you make. For example, the worse thing Adam did in as related in Genesis 3:17, was not eating of the tree of Knowledge. It was that he listened to his wife, when the L’RD instructed Adam, Himself. Adam chose to listen to his wife, and for this the Ground was cursed.... I have listened to many different INTERPRETATIONS of that story, but I have never heard that presented as the reason for being forced to the fields and hard labor. By the way, why did the snake know that we (even now) would mis-interpret the meaning of Death? (Gen. 3:3..4 verses Gen. 2 17.) 

It seems that much of what has happened, is do to our thoughts being on something less important than what we should be thinking about –my commentary.

I have not found anything in the Torah(Written Books of Moses), which is a mistake or without value. It is only our lack of understanding and lack of desire to gain that understanding, that keeps us from knowing. However, if a child of six or seven can sit down and read the word of G’D, and learn what they should and should not do, why do we not question what we are told? We just accept it as being correctly stated. Each of us is required to seek understanding of Right and wrong and perform that which is Right. 

G’d wants us to do that which is RIGHT, to seek HIS forgiveness and stop doing that which is wrong. Ezekiel 18:21 “Moreover, if the wicked one repents of all his sins that he committed and keeps all of My Laws and does what Is just and right, he shall live;....”

Last statement today: 

Deuteronomy 30:11" Surely, this Instruction which I enjoin upon you this day is not too baffling for you, nor is it beyond reach. ......14: No, the thing is very close to you, in your mouth and in your heart, to observe it.” This statement from Moses has been twisted by most religious leaders I have ever heard(with more that 50 years of listening). In Exodus 20 the L’RD G’D came down from the mountain, to the those who escaped from Egypt. He came with thunder, lighting, a blaring of horn, a smoking mountain which scared the people so badly that in Ex. 20:16 “You speak to us” they said to Moses, “and we will obey; but lot not G’D speak to us lest we Die.” They send Moses to hear G’D and report what they promise to DO! At the end of Moses life, Moses is pointing out that he has told you and noone needs to go get it for you.

You must choose. You must love the L’RD our G’D, with all of your heart, with all of your soul and with all of your being.

I would like to present you with a couple of ideas. 

Let us consider for discussion between that: The L'RD knew every life and the decisions each life is going to make before HE said “Let there be light.” Ref: Isaiah 44:6..8, 

 It is believed that every religion that concedes that the G-D of Abram, Issac and Jacob is G-D, believes that HE is learning and fallible. ( A major dissertation if you have the time --I know that this is not true. The part about “He is learning....”) This is not in conflict with our free will. Was Adam not punished because he gave heed to Eve. Gen. 3:17.

Second, in order to fulfill the promises to the patriarchs and for HIS glory the L'RD uses the Tanach to teach Us and the world exactly what HE wants. Example Abram and Jacob are promised that HE would make of him a great nation. (Genesis 12:2) and (Genesis 46:3). But all of the souls with Jacob are 70 when entering into Egypt. In a world where tens of thousands do battle, what better place to build a tiny people, perform great miracles and show power to all nations than to hide them in Egypt? My G'D NEVER MAKES A MISTAKE. In (Genesis 15:5) and (Genesis 28:14) again Abram and Jacob are promised descendants to numerous to count(paraphrased). If Joseph is sent away to protect 70, then ten tribes can be sent into hiding to fulfill the Greater Promise of not being able to count them. 

Third, the L'RD allows events to be performed for his glory and at his desire. Example, when the L'RD appears to the Hebrews the first time and speaks the Ten Commandments, HE does so in the most terrifying way possible, this gets the Hebrews to CHOOSE Moses to be G'D's messenger and they promise that what every HE says we will perform. Of course the L'RD chose Moses, but the people had to declare it. When the L'RD needs a reason to stop Moses from crossing the Jordan to the Promised Land a second “rock” incident occurs, to whit, the tribal elders are raging against Moses and Aaron about there being “no water to drink” and they would have been better off in Egypt.... Moses and Aaron go in before the L'RD and without a word from them, the L'RD tells Moses to speak to the rock. (The striking of the Rock is the most accepted issue I have heard in any discussion.) The first words Moses speaks are in frustration and rage, then he strikes the rock. The state of Ad'nai is that before all Israel you did not give me the glory, for that reason you will not pass over....

I read the Torah(5 Books of Moses) and Tanach as written. I personal have found nothing in it that is not true or unimportant. It has taken me years of searching for truth and the L'RD's help in providing understanding to get where I am. G'D is G'D, it is we that are flawed and lacking of knowledge and understanding, that which has been there before us for thousands of years. All of the prophets have a single them: G'D's way is perfect and the spirit the HE placed within us should live, but only if we walk with our G'D. If we could do that the whole world would know the G''D of Abram, Issac and Jacob and the trouble would not happen at the end. Otherwise, we will be the cause of the trouble, so that when we are saved the World will know G'D.
