Do unto others. . . .

The religions of the world have really been beating this one for a long time. I don’t see that this has improved the world.

Let us look at the examples of the text.

This has a number of ramifications and willful (by humans) re-interpretations.

Matthew 7:12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

But it is only a piece of the text, so there is no context, which allows all of this carnage. Let us take a closer look at the original text –in English. JPS1917 again.

Leviticus 19:
17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thy heart; thou shalt surely rebuke thy neighbour, and not bear sin because of him. 18 Thou shalt not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

This is to the point as I see it. Treat you family carefully, have mercy on them because they are your family. Each of us makes mistakes from time to time, and so you will also need them to have mercy on you.

But, everyone keeps expanding this to mean everybody, don’t they? So if you want to know how to treat those that are not your family, take a look at this:

Leviticus 25:
17 And ye shall not wrong one another; but thou shalt fear thy God; for I am the LORD your God.
18 Wherefore ye shall do My statutes, and keep Mine ordinances and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.

Let’s keep this simple, O.K.?

The Lord God says what is right and what is wrong, and HE will take care of both sides. Rewarding good for good and evil for evil. This reward system is probably not in your time frame, but it will at the perfect time and the perfect amount based on HIS JUDGEMENT. This after all, HIS Heavens and Earth, HE Created it and keeps it going.

What I mean is this, If you think you can get away with something, you won’t. But, neither has HE forgotten HIS and their reward.

Honor Your Father and Your Mother

Honor your father/mother!

This is One of the sayings, A part of the Covenant, Exodus 20:11, and held up to day by those wanting you to just do what I want. It has become a major control function by those not deserving what they demand. With all of the manipulation involved in this command, how does the LORD

Does Commandment Five really mean that? Does it really mean that you are to be a slave you parent?

NO! That is not what is intended. You are not to be a slave to you parents. BUT. . . .you are to show respect and learn from them. If not what to be, then what not to be. You are not required to act like them either.

Exodus 20:4 ….I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me;
If you learn to act in the same evil that your father does, you also will earn your fathers position. It is only the 3rd or 4th generation that may learn to do better. You can see this function in the Kings that come after King David. Daivd was good but that does not make his children good or bad, for he was a good role model. This also demonstrates that it is easy to be bad and requires effort to be good. It is worth the effort.

Exodus 20:11 Honour thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
So that is the LAW.

Do you have to be evil like your parents?
Ezekiel 18:14 Now, lo, if he beget a son, that seeth all his father’s sins, which he hath done, and considereth, and doeth not such like, . . . .

Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die; the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father with him, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son with him; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

You are responsible for your actions, do what is right. There is of course much more in the Written Torah and in the complete Tanakh regarding this. Actually it is demonstrated throughout the complete Tanakh.

Let us define: Honor or Honour.

The first Google search displayed:

Oxford Dictionaries agreed with that.

The Free Dictionary:
“honour (ˈɒnə) or honor
n
1. personal integrity; allegiance to moral principles . . . . “

It seems that to either give or receive honor/honour, one of these definitions should apply, preferring that both apply. That being, that one should not only be worthy of Respect and Esteem, but are so because of Personal Integrity and Moral behavior.

In the case of Exodus 20:11, we, personally must respect our Father and Mother, if for no other reason than that they brought us into this life/world. Beyond that, as they age and need protection or assistance, we should do what we can. Even if they, in your opinion do not deserve such assistance. Why should you? Easy, to demonstrate to your children, and for those that see you, good behavior and respect, for you, THE LORD willing, will also get older and need assistance.

Yet, if your Father and Mother demonstrated personal integrity and moral values by keeping the Laws by Hand Of Moses, then you should listen and observe how to get to their position with the Almighty or better.

An example of not learning from you Father can be seen with: Samuel the Prophet.
1 Samuel Chapter 8:
1 And it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he made his sons judges over Israel. . . . .
3 And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted justice.
4 Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah.
5 And they said unto him: ‘Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways; now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.’

Another example is David, King Of Israel. Every king that followed him is compared to David by The LORD, of which none are as good as David. While many people have found fault with David, He is what we should aspire to be like, in every way. For the LORD’S Love of David does not falter, even in the World To Come.

Last example is GOD Our FATHER. HE meets the reasons for deserving of Honor and Respect and MORAL VALUES. HE is also the FATHER of your Soul, which if you learn from HIM, will out live you human form beyond your expectations. Of course there is the other side, that of not following HIM or learning from HIM and rejecting HIS teachings which will earn you a length of time equal to the days of life of your dirt.

SO, if you do not have a Father and/or Mother worthy of honor/respect, you show him/her/them respect and honor to teach your children how to behave along with those that see you. The FATHER of your Soul is also watching, waiting for HIS Children.

IT is to our benefit to HEARKEN until the LIVING GOD OF ISRAEL, and to our pain and shame to do otherwise.

Did Not Hearken

Today the 2nd of January, 2016. Now it comes, that I must finish this writing. It seams an odd title for this document, but very appropriate given the people of the earth, at this time. Please let me explain.

If you have read other documents, of my writings, you may see that each is needed at a particular time. If not for your time, then maybe it was for my time. These writings come about in a particular order, but are not wrong, if found or read out of order. It seems that I must write these, at a particular time, and as result of something that recently has happened; is happening; or even will happen very soon. On my time line, events usually follow, what I have been reading, studying and writing about. Then become the center events for a few days or weeks. We will see if you discover this for yourself. On with this one.

There has always been alarm bells in my life, as I see so many people, that do not want to know the truth. The Truth to be found in the Writings of Moses(TORAH), in Prophecy(Tanakh), in science and even in say archeology. But there are those, that seek TRUTH, and if you can not prove something is truth, then you can work to prove it is not a lie, which thereby givings more weight as the TRUTH, by it not proving it wrong. In science, a theory is presented, not a truth, and the theory is in good standing, until something happens that the theory can not defend or predict. At that time the theory is either modified or must be replaced. Science is not about TRUTH, and can fail for it is only a theory and not a TRUTH.

The events which bring me to finishing this writing are:

Recently, a video link was presented on Facebook from a “Rabbi Yosef Mizrachi” with a discussion about “A Righteous Rabbi Won’t Hide Anything From The Torah From The Congregation” this video and another Youtube video of his ‘The Purpose Of Life” presented me with some confirmation to things I find driving my search.

Item one from “The Purpose Of Life”, he presents at 8 minutes and 20 seconds, “The First rule is: That if there is a book, that was given by the CREATOR Of The World to people, if we going to find, one mistake in that book, one human error, from that moment on its not going to be wise to continue to waste time on that book.”

Item two from “A Righteous Rabbi. . . .” You tell the truth even if only one in ten thousand people will change and the rest will be angry . . . . This is taken from his presenting words from the “Maimonides” (Philosopher, Moshe ben Maimon, or Mūsā ibn Maymūn, acronymed Rambam).

January 2015, I heard of a movie called “Patterns Of Evidence: Exodus” which I found had only be shown in “August 2014?”. For one showing in theaters across America, and for only one show. This movie was going to be showing again, for one show in the Bay Area and select theaters across America again, just one show later in the month. The significance of this movie for me was that it was looking at evidence for or against the information found in archeology and the TORAH, and presenting the information as patterns of evidence so that each person could decide the truth. Not for or against, but only what information there is. I found and still find that information allows you or I, to decide the truth, important. I tried to get as many people as possible to the one showing. I got nine people to the show.

The information was incredible. I wanted to get my hands on this so that everyone I knew could see and decide. It was not available yet, but someday. Then in November 2015, something caused me to look into this movie again. I found that near the end of November the Movie became available as a DVD or Blue-ray disc, and theater presentations with one year licenses were available. I again put my neck out to attempt to get others excited. No success.

Today, 2 January 2016, I found the movie on Netflix, which was not available last week, I looked for it. In reviewing the movie again, I was reminded that even having hard evidence in front of most people, does not mean they will listen at all. Most can only see one thing, that being something already in the heart. They can not hear.

I have had difficulty with this reality, as I am always seeking to know the TRUTH. Seeking the errors in the book. If I can not prove the TRUTH, maybe I can find the error and therefore do not need to waste time seeking the truth. Because I would have found the lie, none of it will not be trustworthy anymore. This has never happened in 50 years of searching, but I have learn where the TRUTH IS.

Everything I could not prove wrong, adds more weight to it being true. And, everything which can be shown as true does not require work to prove false anymore. The end result is being able to trust completely what I KNOW is true, but listening in case I missed something.

I write about what I find, and strive to speak only the TRUTH. This is not to say that I am perfect and can not make a typo or mistake, yet I very seldom go backwards on my information. Want to try me? I am ready!

So why “Did Not Hearken” as an article? I find that to many people do not want to know the truth. They actually fight against the truth. Fight against GOD? Some even hate the truth. I don’t understand why and was thinking that maybe I had it all wrong. I had self-doubt, not doubt in THE LORD or HIS WORD, but my understanding as so many refuse to hear anything.

Okay, in that past couple of weeks, The LORD has shown me these things so that I can be calmer about what is happening. So much so that I had to add two more references to this writing.

Jeremiah 3:
13 Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every leafy tree, and ye have not hearkened to My voice, saith the LORD.
14 Return, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am a lord unto you, and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion;

Is that one in ten thousand? “One of a city”

Isaiah 10:
21 A remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto God the Mighty.
22 For though thy people, O Israel, be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them shall return; an extermination is determined, overflowing with righteousness.
23 For an extermination wholly determined shall the Lord, the GOD of hosts, make in the midst of all the earth.

The extermination is stated a second time — On the witness of two or more the truth is known.

So many do not hearken!

Deuteronomy 28:
15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all His commandments and His statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee.
….
45 And all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou didst not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded thee.
….
58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and awful Name, the LORD thy God;

Leviticus 18:
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them: I am the LORD your God.
3 After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do; and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do; neither shall ye walk in their statutes.
4 Mine ordinances shall ye do, and My statutes shall ye keep, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.
5 Ye shall therefore keep My statutes, and Mine ordinances, which if a man do, he shall live by them: I am the LORD.

Exodus 19:
5 Now therefore, if ye will hearken unto My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then ye shall be Mine own treasure from among all peoples; for all the earth is Mine;
6 and ye shall be unto Me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.’

Deuteronomy 30:
1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt bethink thyself among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,
2 and shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and hearken to His voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul;

Leviticus 26:
14 But if ye will not hearken unto Me, and will not do all these commandments;
15 and if ye shall reject My statutes, and if your soul abhor Mine ordinances, so that ye will not do all My commandments, but break My covenant;

IT is to our benefit to HEARKEN until the LIVING GOD OF ISRAEL, and to our pain and shame to do otherwise.
