Over the centuries, those that have considered the prophesies regarding the “End Days” have been concerned with G-D's wrath and why HE punishes all the earth.
I to have been concerned about Numbers 26 and Deuteronomy chapters 28 -30. Blessing and curses are that are presented there, but not just there. There are blessings and curses throughout the Tanach(Old Testament) about what happens when we turn away from the G-D of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the Laws and Teachings HE put forth in the Writings of Moses.
A new understanding has occurred to me regarding these Blessings and Curses. First I must lay a framework of understanding: That Humans have no way to understand that which is outside of our knowledge or reference. So to understand G-D, who is outside our universe as well as in it, “Let there be light” or Big Bang Theory?, human reference is from our theories and observations that came after that event.
Please bare with me, because I know you have been taught other things and have different thoughts about the subject. Let it be that this is a lecture and that it will make sense to you in the end, otherwise send a reply or submit an comment.
Because of the unique position, being able to see the universe from the outside as well as the inside, time has no meaning, hence a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day. Time has no meaning or control over G-D.
{Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil; I am the LORD, that doeth all these things. 8 Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness; let the earth open, that they may bring forth salvation, and let her cause righteousness to spring up together; I the LORD have created it. 9 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker, as a potsherd with the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him that fashioned it: 'What makest thou?' Or: 'Thy work, it hath no hands'? 10 Woe unto him that saith unto his father: 'Wherefore begettest thou?' Or to a woman: 'Wherefore travailest thou?' 11 Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: Ask Me of the things that are to come; concerning My sons, and concerning the work of My hands, command ye Me. 12 I, even I, have made the earth, and created man upon it; I, even My hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.}
The purpose in presenting this information is that: G-D knows all that we think or do, each and everyone of us. But, this is not required to tell us what the end will look like. It only needs HIM to look and see the End and then to tell us. We are then warned about our actions and what the results of those actions are.
G-D does not need to met out punishment, only let us continue on our own path, for man is usually concerned with himself and this moment and so does not consider actions and results. Those that do consider and strive to understand will find a different path, yet they are few. For most of us, we reject the Word of G-D and blame HIM for what happens, yet it is the result of what we do.
Some of us it seems, are required to take this path for G-D's glory, hence:
{Isaiah 6:9 And He said: 'Go, and tell this people: hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. 10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they, seeing with their eyes, and hearing with their ears, and understanding with their heart, return, and be healed.'}
--all is designed for HIS glory, and HIS judgement is Righteous in all things. Refer to the Exodus story of Pharaoh and Moses. If Pharaoh had simply let the Hebrews go worship for three days, we would not be talking about that story 3,500 years after the event, so for us to know G-D, and have a hint of what is to come, G-D hardened Pharaoh's heart and so the next plague happens, ....
What you don't want to be against G-D? Simple: {Deuteronomy 30:10 if thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the law; if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul.} This is really not that hard, is it? Yet, many are unwilling to even acknowledge G-D and spend their days rebelling just like spoiled children that refuse to do anything the parents say. To Bad.
